Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas is showing the world all of the ups and downs of her journey to success in her new TV movie.
Only two years after her historic gold medal win at the 2012 London Olympics, Gabby Douglas isn’t hesitating to show the world all the ups and downs of her journey to success in the Lifetime movie The Gabby Douglas Story. After leaving her family and home to work with one of the best coaches in the business—Liang Chow—at 14, Douglas struggled with homesickness, along with the pressures of knowing her family had made huge sacrifices so she could take her dream to the next level.
But it all paid off in the end when she became the first African American to bring home the gold in the women’s individual all-around event. Want to learn more about the “Flying Squirrel?” Watch her video above to get the facts.
